The British School of Paris prides itself on its Welcome Service, which helps families integrate fully into their new lives overseas. Practical help, information and resources are provided via a network of Area Welcome Representatives and by our Registrar, Kate Dufraisse.
Area Welcome Representatives are volunteer parents of pupils at the BSP. The service is organised geographically, with some of the larger localities covered by more than one Welcome Representative. The aim is to have a port of call for all those initial niggling questions you may have together with information on local services from plumbing to paediatrics. They also share details of forthcoming events, clubs and associations in your area such as Mum and Toddler groups, French lessons and book clubs.
We were all new once and we want to do everything we possibly can to ensure that you and your family acclimatise to life in France as quickly as possible.
