After graduating from Nottingham Trent University with a BA Honours in Humanities Emma took a gap year and travelled around the world doing different jobs. One of her most memorable experiences was working for an NGO in El Salvador, where she also learnt to speak Spanish. When working as an English teacher in Japan she became coordinator of the children’s teaching programme and was inspired to become a primary school teacher. Emma then completed her PGCE at Canterbury Christchurch University.

Emma became the Head of e-Learning in 2012 when the BSP introduced iPads and the Frog learning platform. More recently she has trained as an Internet Safety Ambassador for CEOP.
