Teacher of Geography

Headmaster Mr Nicholas Hammond is seeking to appoint a well qualified and highly motivated Teacher of Geography from 8th February until mid-March 2018.

Full-time & temporary post (illness cover).

The British School of Paris is a non-selective co-educational school which provides British education of a high quality to an international student clientele.

The successful candidate will join a thriving and well-equipped department and will teach Geography from KS3 through to KS5, with particular emphasis on preparing students for excellence at A Level and beyond.

All applicants must be fully qualified teachers with recent experience of the National Curriculum of England and Wales and should expect to contribute fully to the wider life of the school. They must hold a valid EU passport or have already obtained a full French work permit.

Teacher of Art

Full-time & permanent post.

The successful applicant will be a passionate and talented classroom practitioner who will build upon the considerable success already enjoyed by the Art department. They will teach Art at KS3, KS4 and A Level including A Level Photography, and have the possibility to teach History of Art.

All applicants must be fully qualified teachers with recent experience of the National Curriculum of England and Wales and should expect to contribute fully to the wider life of the school. They must hold a valid EU passport or have already obtained a full French work permit.

What are we looking for in a supply teacher ?

A university degree with a PGCE, or Bachelor of Education.
Recent experience of classroom teaching, preferably in a school following the National Curriculum of England & Wales.
Living in Paris area, willing and able to commute to Croissy-sur-Seine at short notice.
