In Year 12 macroeconomics, students have recently been studying the ‘Global Justice Report’ published by the Global Justice Project, an international team headed up by renowned French economist Thomas Picketty. The report attempts to recommend the mechanisms by which inequality can be eliminated, whilst living within planetary boundaries.

Students were tasked with researching the Project, the report and its main conclusions. They were then to communicate their findings via a report for discussion in class and for the wider BSP community.

This hugely important publication deserves serious attention and the reports that have been distributed to the BSP community will hopefully serve as a clear introduction to the Global Justice Project and its aims.
