This was the third visit by the Business and Economics department to the wonderful Citéco museum (Finance and Economics museum) in the 17th arrondissement of Paris. This time we focussed on the theme of “développement durable” which brought together one of the Sustainable Development Goals supported by the school (Responsible Consumption and Production), our A level specification, and some cross-curricular links with a review of the recent COP30 summit.
The Year 12 pupils thoroughly enjoyed their guided tour of the museum, which was followed by some free time to explore their own favourite exhibits/stands – much of which will no doubt make an appearance in their upcoming university applications.
A picnic lunch in what could be the nicest park in Paris, Parc Monceau, rounded off a great outing before the bus back for afternoon lessons.
