As Year 5 headed towards the Accrobranche camp last Friday, there was a mixture of feelings. Some children were really excited to swing from the trees while others were nervous about the day ahead.

After eating their picnics, they got kitted out for an afternoon of adventure, after which they set off in their groups. Everyone was very excited!

The children worked together, helping each other with the equipment and encouraging one another during the more challenging parts. For many in the year group, it was their first time doing Accrobranche and they really enjoyed it. Many children also helped and guided their friends through the treetops. It was lovely to see such kindness and consideration towards their peers.

It was the perfect way to celebrate the end of a wonderful Year 5!
