n Year 2 this week, we had a wonderful time being LEGO engineers. Using the LEGO STEM Spike software, the children completed a series of challenges to design and programme moving fairground rides.
Working in pairs or small teams, the children followed instructions to build rides such as a carousel, a swing, spinning teacups and a Ferris wheel.
Once the models were complete, the children used iPads to programme their rides and were delighted with the results.
