Matthias Doerrzapf, a Mathematics lecturer at the University of Cambridge, spoke to our Year 12 students about the wide range of career opportunities that studying Mathematics and STEM subjects can lead to. Drawing on his own experiences, he highlighted the value of mathematical thinking and problem-solving skills across a variety of fields.

He also discussed the admissions process for competitive universities, offering practical advice to aspiring applicants, and provided an engaging insight into student life at Cambridge. He fed back how wonderfully curious and engaging the students had been.
