On the 21st and 22nd May, the BSP golf team travelled to Kingston upon Thames to play in the annual ISAA Golf Tournament. This year it was taking place at the Hampton Court Palace Golf Club, which had very nice facilities as well as wild deer roaming the course. Only the sight of the palace made us realise we were near London!
After a few years of growing the golf team, this year we grew further to take six team golfers and two non-competing golfers. As a result, we had our most successful set of results to date, finishing 3rd in the team competition on 260 points. When you consider that some of the other London schools sent ten golfers, some of whom have very low handicaps, we were very proud of our players across both days.
All players contributed many points to the team total. Well done to all golfers on the trip for an excellent few days.
