This term in Year 7 Art, as part of their studies of Folk Art, pupils studied Henri Rousseau’s painting
“Surpris!”, focusing on the use of a variety of greens and layering of images.
For their projects, the pupils created and painted numerous shades of green, using only red, yellow and blue paints, and then cut them up to create collages of their own nature scenes. Here is just one example of the outstanding pieces of artwork they have created.
