Year 3 children enjoyed consolidating their understanding of bird’s eye view, maps and plans during their walk around our neighbours: Parc Claude Monet.
They were challenged to keep track of their route to help locate various landmarks and were especially pleased when one of the local businesses spotted them out and about, waved and came out with a few party balloons to cheer them on our way.
The Year 3 teaching team have seen some great map skills in this geography unit so far; next, it is the eight point compass and four-figure grid references!
