Junior Coupe de France de Netball

“The inaugural Junior Coupe de France de Netball took place at the BSP earlier this month, bringing together U14 and U18 teams from across France for a fantastic day of competition.

The atmosphere throughout the tournament was brilliant, with impressive skill, determination and team spirit on display across every match.

Our U18 team rose to the occasion superbly, reaching the final before securing a dramatic 12–11 victory to become champions of the tournament.

Our U14 team also enjoyed an outstanding competition, finishing as runners-up after six dominant wins and one hard fought draw in the first and second round games, followed by an incredibly close final that went into extra time.

Meanwhile, our youngest squad of Year 6 and 7 players approached the competition with real courage and positivity, gaining valuable experience and showing outstanding support for one another throughout the day.

A huge thank you goes to the many staff, volunteers, local clubs, the BSPCA and Netball France representatives who helped make the event such a success.

We were also delighted to welcome former England Roses player Geva Mentor in her role as Performance Director for Netball France.
