Learning to study non-fiction books is a very important skill. In Year 6, we use library sessions to focus on this skill. This week, they had great fun combining all these skills into a treasure hunt.

Each student chose a book to research and wrote a question based on it. The question had to contain a keyword from the index. The following week, the books were hidden around the library. The class searched the room and tried to answer the questions. They were excellent treasure hunters, finding nuggets of information. Well done, Year 6!

Year 6 love the library. Our librarian worked tirelessly to create this wonderful learning experience.
