Senior School LAMDA pupils received their long-awaited certificates during Tuesday’s assembly, the first whole school assembly after mock exams.
We are extremely proud of all our Acting candidates who received Merit or Distinction and over the moon with the Speaking in Public candidates who all received Distinction.
We would like to highlight a Year 8 student who took a leap and received Distinction for her Grade 4 exam. She had to learn two speeches and answer complex questions about communication and delivery.
This year, an Enrichment programme was introduced in Year 12 and LAMDA was offered as an academic option.
We are delighted to announce that one of our Year 12 pupils received a Distinction for Grade 6 Speaking in Public, which is also a Bronze medal and worth UCAS points.
Finally, we would like to congratulate a Year 11 student who took the challenge of preparing and delivering her Grade 8, Gold medal exam in Speaking in Public. All her hard work and commitment paid off and she received a Distinction, which is equivalent to 30 UCAS points, or a grade C at A-Level.
Well done to all our amazing LAMDA pupils.
