3T have been busy readers! Supervised by a member of staff, the 3T children have worked in pairs to choose suitable picture books from the library before heading to EYFS to read to the children. Some readers were a little shy at first, but with encouragement and time, everyone learned to enjoy reading to an audience.
And what a wonderful audience Reception class children were: they listened intently to 3T’s storytelling. Bringing these two year groups together on a weekly basis to nurture a love of reading has been a special time indeed.
