“I’ve learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way (s)he handles these three things: a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights.” – Maya Angelou
This week is always a special one at the BSP. For some the focus is on the New Year’s mock exams while for most it is in the activities that celebrate both our community and the end of term. All who had the opportunity to experience the magic of the Polar Express will be aware of what can be done when all work together for a goal. The Senior School concert showcased the wealth of talent that exists in the school with bands, ensembles and orchestras joining together to make a joyful sound. Particular thanks to all who worked with Messrs Lockwood and Calvert to deliver wonderful spectacles on both campuses.
For some this is a festive time that is tinged with some sadness as it is time for some of our pupils to depart for new adventures in different schools around the world. They do so with our best wishes and the reminder that wherever they end up, they remain part of the BSP and we will always be delighted to see them back here in Croissy.
We look forward to starting the New Year on a positive note and hope that all have the chance to enjoy this season of festivity. May we all find some joy at this time of year in a world in which it is in short supply. Travel safely and have the Merriest of Christmases and best of New Years.
