On Tuesday 2nd December, during their PSHE session, Year 12 students took part in an exciting Futures event featuring a visit from the European Universities Consortium. The visit provided an informative opportunity for students to meet representatives from a selection of leading European institutions and to explore a wide range of English-speaking international study pathways.

  • The visiting universities were:
  • Bocconi University
  • IE University
  • Brussels School of Governance
  • Constructor University
  • EHL

The session began with a specialist presentation introducing students to the variety of programmes available across Europe, spanning Business, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Law, International Relations, Social Sciences, Hospitality and many other disciplines. Following the presentation, students had the chance to speak directly with university representatives, ask questions and collect brochures and resources to support their decision-making.

In the evening, parents and students attended a further information event designed to help families understand the full range of international routes available after Year 13. The session also highlighted the extensive support offered by the school throughout the application process.

The Futures team were pleased to support Year 12 as they began shaping their next steps. They will continue to guide students through the writing of personal statements and CVs, the development of strong academic and extracurricular profiles and the refinement of key interpersonal skills that will help them succeed in both applications and future interviews.

The EUC visit marked the beginning of an exciting stage in the post-18 planning journey, and we were delighted to provide students with opportunities that broaden their horizons and inspire confident, informed choices.
