The children in Year 5 were really excited this week as they started making their mazes in collaborative groups.
They worked as teams to build a 3D maze with Kapla bricks, which they replaced with masking tape.
They then used the tape to help them measure the wood needed for their maze. The most exciting part was going into the DT room to use the woodwork equipment.
We are now looking forward to the next phase of the project, in which the teams will transform their mazes into different geographical locations.
