Year 1 children have been learning about Space during the last few weeks.
They had great fun orbiting around the sun in the classroom and outside as well as finding out the names of the planets in our solar system. T
hey know that gravity is the force that stops us from floating away from Earth and enjoyed using Google Earth to zoom in to see our school.
In Art, the children have been printing space themed pictures, using ink and rollers and they have also enjoyed dressing up as astronauts!
