Pupils from the BSP’s Junior School recently played a football match against the ISP. Please see below some match reports from the BSP players involved.
“On Tuesday 25th November, a few BSP students from Years 4, 5 and 6 attended a football match at the Stade in Paris against the ISP (International School of Paris). We left school at 2.45 pm. The drive to the stadium was quick. Before we left, Mr Potter gave us a quick pep talk to get us pumped up.
Once we arrived, we changed our shoes, put on our shin pads and started preparing to play. After a team huddle, we got down to business and the game began. The ISP were tough and physical, with some pushing here and there. But we gave it our all and the girls ended with a 0-0 draw, while the boys’ teams won! We were proud to have tried our best and happy with our results. After the well-played match, we were tired on the way back, but it was completely worth it. Even though the girls’ team didn’t win, it was great fun and an enjoyable experience.“

“I really enjoyed playing the ISP – it was great fun and the stadium was pretty good too. I thought the BSP played really well. We had the ball most of the time and our goalkeeper, A, saved us more than once. However, the ISP also played well. They defended and attacked a lot and had quite a few chances to score. Playing against the ISP was entertaining and amusing. I think S, who scored the most goals, was the man of the match.“

It was great fun playing against the ISP. Everyone worked hard and the goalkeeper made some great saves.“
