The Year 5 children explored motifs and discovered how they are used in fashion design.
First, they created their own motif using a limited number of shapes and colours.
They then researched traditional costumes from around the world, using these to inspire their own unique designs. The children worked together, sharing their ideas and skills, to create paper patterns and turn them into amazing outfits, which are now on display in the school entrance.
A Special mention goes to a Year 5 pupil: K sat Russian tests in science and literature this week and achieved the top results in his class. Congratulations, K, for your hard work and good luck with your upcoming tests next week, Class 5H!
