“At the ISAA cross-country running competition in Rome, I was extremely impressed with both the determination and grit of the runners. Everyone gave it their best effort, with outstanding results given the limited training period.
More than that, I am proud of how the team supported one another at every stage. Even if it was just watching and applauding, or getting water and sharing snacks, all the runners showed team spirit and compassion for one another.
I know everyone had a great time, and I really wanted to thank the teachers for navigating Rome to make sure we were able to see the Colosseum and have pizza!”
