After several weeks of intense training four teams travelled to The International School of Brussels to compete in a large-scale international cross country event, which brought together nine International schools. The competition was set in a stunning forest location, providing both scenic and challenging routes for our runners.
The Junior teams tackled a 3.6km course through wooded trails, while the Senior athletes faced a demanding 5km route over rugged terrain. All our students showed tremendous determination, teamwork, and resilience throughout the event.
In the Senior Boys category, one boy delivered an excellent performance, finishing in 19 minutes and 50 seconds. The Junior Girls also impressed, with strong running from one student and another – our youngest competitor – helping the team secure an excellent 5th place overall.
Special congratulations go to the Junior Boys, who achieved a remarkable 3rd place finish thanks to strong performances from four of the students.
This event marked a fantastic start to the cross country season, and a wonderful team effort by everyone. The team now looks forward to the next challenge — the ISAA Competition in Rome in November.
Well done to all our runners!
