Fashion Show
As part of their cross-curricular topic on fashion, Year 5 children enjoyed a fun catwalk show in the corridors of the French Department.
The children chose outfits and took turns to walk like models while their classmates described what they were wearing : “Elle porte une jupe rouge à carreaux. C’est élégant.”
This gave them a wonderful opportunity to use all the vocabulary they had learnt in class, as well as practising walking confidently in a straight line like real models. Well done, Year 5!
French Ambassadors
Our French ambassadors have been working hard on their sign poster project, translating all the signs around the school into French. Taking advantage of the beautiful weather on Tuesday, they took their work outside, focusing on the area around the refectory, and enjoyed being creative in the fresh air.
