The Year 8s raised an impressive €315 today for Challenging Heights, an anti-slavery charity that saves children from slavery on Lake Volta in Ghana and provides them with an education. You can learn more about this organisation by clicking here.
The Year 8s recently completed a workshop on modern-day slavery and organised a demonstration on Tuesday to support Anti-Slavery Day which takes place tomorrow, Saturday 18th October. They gave speeches and made a lot of noise, making their voices heard in support of this important cause.
