Lego Club

The Year 2 and 3 Lego Club has been meeting at lunchtimes this half-term, having a lovely time and using their imagination and creativity to build wonderful things.

One pupil took great care when building his beautiful house, while another trio of students added lots of details to their hotel complex. Meanwhile, two more pupils built a lovely house complete with a pond, a garden and a resident tiger.

Many thanks also to the two pupils from Year 6 who have been doing a fantastic job helping everyone with their creations!

Art & Craft

The Year 2 Art and Craft Club have really enjoyed creating their desert islands.

We started off by scrunching up and sticking old newspaper for the base, then moved onto the messy job of covering it all in mod-roc. Finally, the children painted their islands and added their own touches. Some islands had dragon eggs on them, others had flowing rivers or exploring volcanoes. All islands were, of course, imaginative, creative and beautifully made.

Bravo to our artists!

Mandala Club

In Mandala Club this week, the children showed wonderful creativity and teamwork as they worked together to design beautiful autumn-themed mandalas. Using the leaves, snail shells, twigs, and other interesting nature treasures they had collected on last week’s nature walk around the school, they carefully arranged their findings into stunning circular patterns.

Each mandala reflected the vibrant colours and textures of the season, celebrating the beauty of autumn and the changing world around them. As they collaborated and shared ideas, the children also enjoyed the warmth of the last rays of sunshine, creating art that captured the magic of nature and the joy of working together.
