“During our Bronze expedition we had a lot of fun, and we explored landmarks. The first day was a bit tiring but that wasn’t a problem because we were all very excited about our first expedition. We really enjoyed our time at the campsite, and we cooked a tasty dinner. The second day was also fun, but we got lost once, however we overcame the obstacles without arguing and we made it to the end on time.”

“We had an amazing time on our Bronze DofE expedition! We loved setting up our tents, cooking our own meals, and exploring the campsite. The backpacks were heavy, but the beautiful views and fun hikes made it all worth it. A great adventure with our group of seven!”

“I thought it would be much harder, but it was chilled. Once I got home my legs weren’t functioning though.”

“Overall, the expedition went well and was not as hard as I thought it would be, but my legs were aching afterwards.”

“Before the Bronze DofE expedition I thought that it would be difficult and tiring however when on the expedition it was fantastic and a really great experience. But after the trip my legs and shoulders were exhausted and sore.”

“I thought that DofE trip would be a breeze, and it was. I think that it was an exciting new experience that I would do again however, my legs ached a bit.”

“My DofE Bronze practice expedition was a really good experience and I learned a lot from it. I enjoyed spending time with my group, working together, and practising the skills we will need for the real expedition. At the same time, it was very tiring because of all the walking and carrying a heavy bag, but it helped me to push myself and see what I can achieve. Overall, it was challenging but also rewarding.”
