Year 5 children enjoyed an informative and interactive trip to the Musée des Arts Décoratifs on Wednesday.
After studying the work of the pioneering fashion designer Paul Poiret in class, we visited the “La Mode est une Fête” exhibition.
Next, we attended a workshop where we designed our own motifs based on circles, a motif that Paul Poiret frequently used in his clothing and interior design.
Afterwards, we had a picnic in the Tuileries Gardens, where we were entertained by some expert gymnasts!
