Building a bridge is not easy, but the Year 2 children have been investigating different ways of making a strong one.
In 2T, we used materials such as paper, foil, straws and lollipop sticks to create our bridges. The children discovered that using different shapes and making the paper thicker strengthened the bridge.
In 2H, the children used the various construction materials available to create their own bridges.
Everyone had great fun and we were surprised at how strong some of our bridges were.
