On Friday 12th September, Year 12 students visited the Association ELLSA in nearby Achères, where they had the opportunity to contribute to the upkeep of the community garden.
Working collaboratively, they engaged in a variety of horticultural tasks including composting organic waste to enrich the soil, digging trenches around flower beds to aid irrigation, planting seeds to encourage new growth, and carefully weeding to prevent competition for nutrients.
These activities not only developed their practical gardening skills but also provided a valuable opportunity for team building, as students learned to cooperate, communicate and support one another while working towards a shared goal in a natural environment.
