Friday 12th September was a busy day in the 6th Form starting with a coffee morning to meet new and existing parents: a moment to chat and present our approach to working with our young adults here at the BSP.

Our Year 12 students then headed off for a volunteering experience at ELLSA (Ensemble, un Lieu pour des Liens Solidaires à Achères) – they gave their time to help others and contribute to a community effort.

The day ended with a 6th Form Welcome Barbecue on the front lawn, for which the sun came out and the rain held off. We were delighted to see so many of our students present reinforcing – this time in a more leisurely environment – the idea of community and participation.

We were even joined by a few of last year’s 6th Formers who came along to rehearse their jazz pieces for tomorrow’s Welcome Event.
