“What can we do ourselves – and how can we be more present with the people around us?”
These were just some of the questions our Year 9, 10 and 12 students explored during special workshops with Joshua Coombes, ahead of his talk at the Senior School Prize Giving.
Joshua – British author, renowned hairdresser and founder of the #DoSomethingForNothing movement – truly connected with everyone in the room while sharing his personal stories and insights.
He spoke candidly about human connection, everyday kindness and the power of small actions to make a big difference.
Our students were completely engaged throughout these sessions and enthusiastically raised follow-up questions and discussions.
They had plenty to say afterwards too. Below are some of their reflections.
Thank you to Joshua for sharing your time and insight.
