To conclude their study of French regions with their four French teachers, Year 6 children went on an exciting trip to France Miniature. There, they explored the miniature monuments they had learnt about in class and took part in a fun quiz about the landmarks they found in the park.
After a well-deserved lunch break in the shade, they enjoyed the thrilling rides and games at Fort Boyard, and cooled off at Koh Lanta, which proved particularly popular on such a hot day!
In their final French lesson of the year, Year 4 children enjoyed some Linguascope activities in the ICT suite, expanding their vocabulary about future holidays. What a great way to end the school year and look forward to the summer!
For their final art activity of the year, Year 1 students combined their summer learning with a creative twist! After discussing summer activities, they had great fun using shaving foam to make mouth-watering ice creams.
It was perfect for this week’s high temperatures! They proudly declared in French, “Quand c’est l’été, je mange des glaces à la vanille, au chocolat, à la fraise et aux myrtilles!”
