The Year 1 children had a wonderful day on Wednesday when they visited the butterfly farm in La Queue-les-Yvelines.
The visit was the culmination of their studies on insects and the children amazed everyone with their knowledge and understanding.
The enclosure became a place of wonder and discovery as the children found their courage and confidence when interacting with the beautiful butterflies. They also had the opportunity to repot a plant to take home and attract insects to their gardens
After enjoying a picnic lunch, we travelled to Parc Corbiere, where we had a fantastic time playing in the shade
The children were a pleasure to take out for the day and the heat did not dampen their enjoyment or interest.
