The annual Senior School Sports Day that took place last Thursday was a great success, with many pupils involved and an array of great performances.
The field events were held in the morning and the running finals took place at Croissy Stade in the afternoon.
Competing for their Houses, the students took part in High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put and Vortex, and then 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m and relays.
Despite the hot conditions, the running races and field events were keenly contested, with three new School records being set.
Special mention must go to several Year 8, 9 and 10 pupils who won an impressive three or four events each.
The winners of each event will receive a certificate in the School assembly next week, and we will be announcing which House won in each year as well as the overall Sports Day winning House.
We would like to thank all the parents who came along to cheer the athletes as well as all the staff who helped support the event.
