KS3 Outdoor Education Week

Our Key Stage 3 students recently returned from their adventure-filled residential trip in the Hautes-Alpes (Year 7 in Guillestre, Year 8 in Serre-Chevalier and Year 9 in the Ecrins National Park). During this week of learning outside the classroom, the students were encouraged to challenge themselves while taking part in activities such as orienteering, catamaran sailing, raft building, stand-up paddle, horse riding, rock climbing, accrobranching, mountain biking, hiking and many more… This focus on character skills should stand them in good stead in other areas of their development and education.
