Under the careful guidance of International Award Leaders Ms Paybody, Dr Last and Mr Shepherd, 25 students took part in last weekend’s assessed Bronze expedition to the Morvan. The route took them through Ouroux-en-Morvan and the Lac des Settons en route for Dun-les-Places.

In perfect spring conditions, all participants successfully completed their venture and will now begin preparation for their post-expedition presentations.

A special thanks to Mrs Wang and Mr Eley for their support and to Graham Bell who helped set up our first expeditions to this destination in 2007.

The expedition season is coming to an end with one more venture pending: a Gold assessed expedition to the Vosges in June.
