This Tuesday, the Senior School Spring Concert showcased the impressive musical talents of many of our pupils.
The orchestra and the choir, the jazz band and smaller ensembles – all contributed to a memorable concert.
A beautiful rendition of Mozart’s Serenade in C minor was even recorded to be used as one of our student’s GCSE Music submission, as he and another pupil joined the Teachers’ Quintet to gain experience of performing with a professional level ensemble.
A special mention goes to another member of the GCSE class who fronted the choir and also gave a beautiful rendition of Sting’s song The Shape Of My Heart – her first such role.
Thanks go to all musicians and teachers who gave us a wonderful evening of music, to the Head Pupils who introduced each piece and to the BSP Community Choir who helped get the evening off to a great start.
