‘Girls on Board’ is an approach to working with girls which empowers them to resolve their own friendship difficulties and helps those caring for and working with them understand how complex friendships can be. The approach has been introduced to girls in Years 7-12 this year.

We felt that it would be useful as part of our wider commitment to helping all our pupils communicate more effectively with each other and in developing their understanding of and empathy towards one another.

Andrew Hampton, founder of ‘Girls on Board’, joined us for a webinar aimed at helping parents understand how the approach works and to highlight ways in which they can support their daughter following the same principles at home. For those who were unable to attend the webinar, please click here to watch a ‘Girls on Board’ presentation.

Please contact the Welfare Team via ssc@britishschool.fr if you have any questions about this or to discuss any concerns you have about your child’s wellbeing.
