Last week, our Junior and Senior Schools celebrated National Careers Week with great fun and enthusiasm. During assembly, both schools participated in the engaging game “My Old Job,” where students matched staff members to their previous professions based on required skills and some guessing!

At the Junior School, all students and staff dressed up as their ‘dream jobs’, displaying incredible costumes and creative thinking. So many jobs were represented, sparking curiosity and conversations about various career paths.

Some Year 13 students shared their chosen careers on stage, including roles such as doctor, diplomat, chemical engineer, mechanical engineer, beauty therapist, creative designer and sports coach.

Amongst our Senior School staff we enjoyed hearing about an ex farm-worker, an actor, an archaeologist, a BBC producer, a land surveyor in civil engineering and oil exploration, an RAF PT instructor, a management consultant (audit risk), an export sales manager, a video games company project manager, a publishing editor and an Oxfam and French Inter-national NGO worker. Please ask your children for the job match answers!

Thank you to everyone that participated and we hope you enjoy the careers conversations that follow.
