Reception
Rain, rain go away!
Last week, the Reception children enjoyed the good weather by taking their learning outside.
A story in the sun with a snack and time to pick flowers for bouquets, make daisy chains, watch the boats go by on the river and climb trees.
We also took our maths lesson outside when we measured each other’s chalk outlines to then compare and sort by size back in the classroom.
The sun will be back again soon!
Nursery
In Nursery we enjoyed going outside to make the most of the warmer weather.
With the first signs of spring we decided to go on a nature walk to see what we could see.
We noticed buds on the trees and discovered that some of the buds had started to turn into leaves and flowers.
We collected bits that we found interesting to study in the classroom.
