In support of their history, art, French, maths and geography topic work, Year 3 braved the rain on Wednesday to explore the museums of Croissy-sur-Seine to learn about our local village and its past.

Jonny told us many interesting stories of the Impressionists and their lives; we then looked at different art pieces, static displays and a video.  Downstairs in the Pavillon d’Histoire Locale, Jacques gave us an insight into the origins of the village, its influential figures and history through the ages.

Thanks go, as ever, to our accompanying parents for their support in our learning.

The Impressionist and local history museums at Château Chanorier are open during the weekend with free admission.
