Last week, Spanish students from KS4 and KS5 embarked on a three-day adventure to Madrid.
The students were able to immerse themselves in the rich culture of one of Europe’s most captivating capitals while practising their linguistic skills in real-life situations, useful for both their GCSE and A Level courses.
Some of the highlights of the trip included:
* Visiting the city centre through a Scavenger Hunt
* A guided tour of Las Ventas bullfighting ring
* An exploration of the works of renowned artists such as Pablo Picasso
* Bachata dancing
* Watching the traditional Easter parades
* Lovely walks through Paseo de Bellas Artes and El Retiro park
* Savouring delicious Spanish cuisine in some of the most iconic restaurants and markets of the city.
