The pupils enjoyed themselves, practising their German in authentic settings; whether ordering food or drink, or conversing with the local inhabitants.
The town hall, cathedral and pretty cobbled lanes are all very enchanting and the cafés and pubs very cosy. The pupils tried either “Currywurst” or “Schnitzel” and had a great choice of cakes to choose from such as: “Zwetschgenkuchen” (plum cake) or “Bienenstichkuchen” (Bee sting cake).
We also visited the Lindt factory outlet store where we bought plenty of unusual chocolates which you cannot normally find.
The pupils were a great credit to the school and behaved impeccably at all times. They were an absolute pleasure to be with.
