This week, the children have been exploring and enjoying mathematics, both indoors and outdoors. It has been wonderful to hear the buzz of maths all around the school. Every class has participated in maths trails around the school grounds, visited the amazing “Estimation Station” and solved puzzles.

Maths story mysteries have been solved in English lessons, triangular numbers investigated, quizzes created, Fibonacci sequence spirals created and the “Vitruvian Man” recreated and investigated in science. Children have had the opportunity to develop and apply their practical maths skills in activities and have had an enormous amount of fun.
