The results are in for this year’s British Physics Olympiad (BPhO) Round One competition and they are spectacular! The BPhO run a few competitions for different age groups but this is their fiercest. Aimed toward Y13 (although two enterprising Y12s also took part), it is over two and a half hours of intense problem solving for which our students have been preparing for months at the Monday lunchtime Physics Olympiad club.
We are extremely proud that all this hard work paid off with all of our Y13s achieving either a Silver or Gold award. The two Y12s also came away with Bronze awards. This is a remarkable achievement for all concerned in such a challenging competition.
