Newspaper Day in Year 6

Newspaper Day was a day where Year 6 got to work as journalists for one day. In the morning we found out who the Editors and Sub-Editors were. Then we decided who was going to be the publisher.

After that, we headed to the drama room and found a giant egg surrounded by tons of feathers! Mr Potter then came into the room and read us a letter from the Geographical Society! They said that the egg was a dragon’s egg!  ‘It was very exciting!’ said David. There was another crime scene set in the science room. ‘The room was all messy and there were paw prints everywhere’ Bua stated. We then headed to work. The Editors and Sub-Editors got to work in the computer room and the journalists got to work in the classrooms. ‘Newspaper Day was challenging but fun!’ commented Divshi.
