Year 4 build shelters in St Germain Forest

What a great day we all had in St Germain forest building shelters. The weather was fantastic and the children worked with excellence and integrity.

Both classes worked in small teams collecting wood and discussing different designs. Part of the morning was spent solving problems when the wood was not big enough or if the structure collapsed. However, they never gave up and by the end of the day we had some super shelters!

A big thank you to the parents that came along to support us and to Mr Murphy, Duke of Edinburgh Leader, for his time and expertise.
