A Level Results 2023

The long summer holiday wait for exam results is now at an end for our A level students. It should come as no surprise that this talented, hardworking, and responsible group of students have performed well in their A level exams. In a year when we had been told by exam boards to expect results returning to pre-pandemic levels it is enormously impressive to see results of this quality.

·      95% of our BSP students have achieved the grades to go to their first-choice university.
·      Our pass rate was 100%.
·      40% of grades were at A*/A

This year sees our students move on to universities across the globe including Australia, Canada, France, Ireland, the Netherlands, Spain, and the United Kingdom.

Whilst it is always tempting to look at those who achieved the coveted clean sweep of A* grades it is important to recognise the many students who have reached their potential this year. This was the first experience of sitting public exams for many of them and exam boards had moved grade boundaries back to 2019 levels.

We are proud of each and every one of our students and their results. It is important that we also recognise the many ways in which this year group have contributed to our community and to the community around them. Their work in the service of others, contributions to music, art, drama, and sport mark them out as being students of exceptional character. They have shown resilience, endeavour and their success is well deserved. It was a pleasure to see so many of them this morning collecting their grades and celebrating their success.

Wherever the next step on their educational journey takes them we can feel sure that they will do so with great success and we wish them well.
