Year 12 – What’s Next?

The ‘What’s Next?’ course for Year 12 students took place over the 26th and 27th and the morning of the 28th of June. This course comprised of a series of workshops covering a range of topics, from ‘Making Effective Choices’, through ‘Studying in the US/Canada’ to ‘Academic Conversations’ and also featured interview preparation sessions. In addition, students began their real university application on this course, with clear instructions as to how to continue over the summer.

Workshops were designed to be interactive, topical and allowed students an opportunity to undertake research, reflect and begin to make decisions about their future. The workshops were delivered by Senior School staff, and were ably supported by external advisors and ex-students of the school.

Many thanks to all those involved, and good luck to Year 12 students over the summer as they embark on work experience placements, catch up on reading and continue to develop their profile in readiness for Year 13.
